In light of the upcoming Father’s Day weekend, I thought I would share this hearty, mouth-watering salad that, I am willing to bet, even the ‘meat-and-potato’ dads will want to eat. steak

Ingredients:
1 head of romaine lettuce
2 medium size, sirloin steaks
1 cup goat cheese, crumbled
2 red peppers
2 carrots, shredded
1 English cucumber
4-5 green onions, finely chopped
1/4 cup real bacon bits

Method:
1. Cook steak on barbeque to dad’s desired tenderness. Chop into cubes.
2. Mix all other ingredients into salad bowl, except for goat cheese and steak.
3. Serve salad into individual bowls and top with steak and goat cheese.
4. Serve with desired salad dressing.
