About Lorraine
I’m Lorraine Driscoll – former teacher, turned Educational Therapist trained in Functional Neurology and Functional Health serving families in Ottawa & Area both in-person and virtually. But before any of that, I spent 15 years as a classroom teacher watching kids work twice as hard as their peers and still fall behind — and being told that was just how their brain was wired.
When my daughter started to struggle, I knew there had to be a root cause. That question led me down a decade of training in brain-body approaches that most parents — and most educators — have never heard of. Today I work with families across Ottawa and beyond to find what’s actually driving the struggle, and correct it. My mission is to help children go beyond compensations like IEPs, endless tutoring and strategies.
