2014-01-27 05.49.50 I usually start my morning with a green smoothie two to three mornings out of seven. I am a big fan of the Vega Protein Powder which can be found in most health food stores as well as GNC.


4 cups almond milk

1 scoop of Vega powder

3 green pears (pears are a fruit that have a low glycemic index)

1 bunch of kale (about 4-5 cups)

2 tablespoons of coconut butter

1 cup blueberries

1 teaspoon cinnamon

Optional : 1 cup Greek yoghurt or cultured coconut

Blend and Enjoy!
